Tomorrow is Autumn Equinox.
As I wrote in my post about Spring Equinox (read it here) the time of equinox, when the day and night length are equal, herald a shift in the cycle of nature and they’re really special times. I really like to take out out for these special times, to appreciate nature and the cycle of nature.
I won’t repeat that article here (you can always read it to find out more about why these times are so important to me).
I will say that it’s a wonderful opportunity to take time out to reflect on the the changing of the seasons, and here the leaves are already starting to turn, the berries are ripening (aren’t the berries of this Guelder rose glorious?) and the air is getting crisper whilst the days shorten.
So, today I wanted to share a quick video with my thoughts about Autumn equinox and a gentle enticement for you to take a moment tomorrow (if you are in the Northern hemisphere … if you’re in the Southern heisphere then happy Spring Equinox to you) to contribute to the Equinox energies and to give nature a quick nod of recognition and appreciation.
The exact moment of exquinox is the moment when when the sun crosses the celestial equator. Here in Ireland that will be at 9.22 am tomorrow, 23rd Spetember 2015. This time will vary with different timezones.

So, if you choose to celebrate it, Happy Autumn (Fall) Equinox for tomorrow.
Even if that doesn’t resonate with you, take time to get outdoors and enjoy nature and the beauty of the season, wherever you are in the world.
